Original US M1855-70 Socket Bayonet
This is a US M1855-70 Socket Bayonet. The 18 1/4" blade bright finish with "US" on the ricasso and imperfections on the surface, light marks from age with oxidation. The 3" socket is unmarked with light marks from use and oxidation. The socket ID is .779" and has a heavy bridge at the end. Please see photo's for fine detail.
