Pre-War Colt Police Positive Special 2nd Issue Revolver .38 Spl
Serial #460284, .38 Special, 5" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1938-made revolver that has 90-925% of the original blue remaining, with mild silvering at the muzzle, along the projections, and a mild turn-ring on the cylinder. Additionally, there is some fading along the edges of the flutes, as well as a few very small spots of surface oxidation around a couple of the notches. Very little freckling is present on the sides of the hammer spur, and the checkered walnut medallion grips are numbered to the gun on the interior. The grips are in fine shape and have only minor wear and flattening of the points on either side. The lock-up is still tight, and the action works flawlessly in both single and double-action. This is a great little pre-WW2 Colt, and is in fine condition overall. FFL or C&R
