WWII Fairbairn-Sykes Third Pattern British Commando Knife & Sheath "BA" Inspector

This is a WWII Fairbairn-Sykes Third Pattern British Commando Knife with war Sheath. The blade is machined and retains most of the original finish with light surface oxidation and no nicks with a nice tip. This knife was carried and used as seen from the blade and use of the sheath. The guard is stamped ENGLAND for import and has light oxidation were it meets the blade. The cast handle is a #3 casting, marked with Broad Arrow B2 and ends in the correct brass nut, a touch of the finish is missing on the handle. The sheath is leather is in very good condition with the no tabs, stamped ENGLAND, elastic broke. This example is round at the end of the chape. Blade length 6 1/2" with OAL of 11 1/4".
