Antique Hopkins & Allen Mfg. Co. Folding Hammer Top Break 32 Revolver

Serial #1117, .32 S&W (black powder low pressure loads), 3 inch round ribbed barrel with a very fine bore with some light pitting near the breech.  This is a Hopkins & Allen Manufacturing Company top break revolver manufactured circa late 1880's featuring their patented folding hammer.  In excellent condition the barrel and frame and cylinder show about 85-90% of the original bright nickel finish with most of the loss on the cylinder which has areas of plum-brown.  The trigger, hammer and latch show much of the original case-colors.  The checker pattern hard rubber grips rate excellent and are scratch numbered to the gun which has all matching numbers.  A excellent example of an early H&A top break revolver.  Antique
