It is our 20 year anniversary of starting the website. It is Joe Salter’s 60 year anniversary of having firearms license and dealing in collectible firearms. Joe spent his early days tracking down Brown Bess muskets and Civil War war material in and around his home base of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. There were many treasures in that area along the coast and beyond in the late 60s and early 70s. In the 1980s, Joe traveled across the border to attend over 100 gun shows a year all across the United States from Florida to Las Vegas to Chicago. He repeated this pattern for many years until starting the website in 2003. Since then the gun shows have diminished, and the Internet has become king.

Joe’s integrity, passion and friendliness is known throughout the collectible gun world. The business and website are built upon that foundation, and it is proven in the hundreds of repeat customers.
