Colt Pre-War Detective Special 1st Issue Revolver 1934
Serial #432170, .38 Special, 2" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1934-made revolver that has retained 90-92% of the original blue finish, with some mild silvering on the barrel and frame. Additionally, there is a light turn-ring and some further fading on the cylinder, and some slight traces of freckling along the sides of the hammer spur. The checkered walnut Colt medallion grips are original and numbered to the gun on the interior. There are minor handling marks throughout, and some flattening of the points at the butt as well. The lock-up is still tight, and the action functions flawlessly in both single and double-action. This is a fine pre-WW2 Detective Special. FFL or C&R
