Rare 1871 Martin 44 Cal Ammo Packet S&W Army Revolver National Armory
This is a full and sealed .44 Caliber ammunition packet “For Smith & Wesson Army Revolver” dated April, 1871 and manufactured by the National Armory in Springfield, Mass. This marks that last year of operation with subsequent ammo produced at Frankford Arsenal. The 12 round packet is fully intact with an excellent label with crisp graphics. The full length pull string is present. An excellent example of these very rarely seen packets perfect for an advanced ammunition collection or to display with your S&W American.
