Remington Model 12A Slide-Action Rifle .22
Serial #512311, .22S,L,LR, 24" barrel with a very good bore that has some mild freckling within the grooves. This is a 1928-made rifle that retains about 85-90% of the original blue finish, with silvering at the muzzle, along the high edges and projections, as well as along the bearing surfaces of the slide. Additionally, there is some gray fading along the wrist tang. The grooved walnut forend and buttstock are in very good shape, with some minor handling marks and small blemishes scattered about the original varnish finish, and the original Remington hard rubber buttplate has a series of chips at the heel on the left side. This is a very good-fine example of a desirable Remington rimfire rifle overall. FFL or C&R
