Sealed! Early 1880's US Cartridge Co. 38 Long Rim Fire Black Powder Ammo

This is a full and sealed box, 50 original rounds, of .38 Long Rim Fire black powder  ammunition manufactured by the United States Cartridge Company.  The two piece green, black and buff labeled box remains factory sealed dating to the 1880's with the Lowell, Mass address, and “Metallic Cartridge” call out with the early cartridge cut of what looks like a center fire round with “38 Long / Rim Fire” spelled out.  A great looking box the graphics remain relatively crisp with some very mild age soiling, a slight indent on the lower right top and the start of seam separation on the upper left side edge.  A very high condition early US Cart Co. box.
