All-Matching London Colt Model 1851 Navy Revolver

Serial #37686, .36 Caliber, 7 1/2" octagon barrel with a very good, bright bore that has some mild pitting within the grooves.  This is a handsome, 1855-made revolver that has a cleaned, mostly pewter gray patina along the barrel and loading lever, with some plum-brown freckling scattered throughout the cylinder and frame.  All numbers match, including the wedge and cylinder arbor, and the cylinder retains 70-75% of the naval scene, with crisp London proofs throughout.  The walnut grip is in very good shape, with numerous small handling marks and minor blemishes scattered about the thick added oil finish.  The lock-up is still very tight, and the action functions flawlessly.  This is a great looking London Navy, and is in very good-near fine condition overall.  Antique
