Antique US Standard 6' X 10' Wool Spanish American Era 45 Star American Flag

This is a United States Standard, 6' X 10' Wool 45 Star Flag from the Spanish American Era. The 45-star flag became the official United States flag on July 4, 1896. A star was added for the admission to the Union of Utah on January 4, 1896. The 45-star flag was in use for 12 years, until July 4, 1908 with the addition of a star for the state of Oklahoma, admitted to the Union on November 16, 1907. The 6'x10' Flag is the standard size for 35' flag poles. This flag has amazing colors with no sign of fading, tight stitching, light age soiling on the white stripes and small random wear holes. The hem has a stamp of "Standard 6' X 10' " but no makers mark. This flag is in very good flown condition.
