Beautiful Pre-’68 Stevens Model 311A Double Gun in 20 Gauge with Original Hang Tag

NSN, 20 Ga. (2 3/4"), 26" barrels with excellent, bright bores choked Cylinder and Modified.  This is a little-used gun that has matching assembly codes on the frame, barrels, and forend iron ("YQ"), with the barrels, lever, and trigger guard retaining 98-99% of the original blue finish that exhibits just a small amount of silvering at the muzzles, and a tiny spot of gray metal on the right edge of the trigger guard bow.  The frame has a commensurate amount of the original color case-hardening remaining with some very mild fading along the edges.  The smooth wooden forend and pistol-grip buttplate are in excellent shape with a few very minor handling marks in the original finish.  The LOP measures 13 3/4" to an original grooved black buttplate, and the drops measure 1 3/4" and 2 3/4" respectively.  The gun is accompanied by an original period yellow and red Stevens Model 311 hang tag.  This is great looking Stevens double gun, in an unusually excellent state of preservation, and would make a splendid addition to a collection.  FFL or C&R
