Belgian FN1949 Short Bayonet & Scabbard

This is an original Belgian FN1949 Short Bayonet with a correct scabbard. The unsharpened 232mm blade, retains almost all of the original finish with no chips and nice tip and is in excellent condition. The guard and pommel also contain most of there finish with only the lightest oxidation. The wood grips are in excellent condition with a small 2 stamped in one of them. The Crown FJ proof can be seen on the handle side of the guard with no other markings. The correct but not matching scabbard is marked and in fair to good condition with half of the finish and lots of signs of use.
