Boxed Model 36 Smith & Wesson Chiefs Special Revolver 38 Special

Serial #J953904, .38 Special, 1 7/8 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore.  This is the Chiefs Special Model 36 Revolver manufactured by Smith & Wesson in 1982.  In excellent plus condition it retains about 99% plus original blue finish on the barrel, frame and cylinder with only a hint of a drag line on the cylinder and brushstrokes throughout.  The trigger and hammer show the original vibrant case-hardened colors.   The checkered walnut factory square butt Magna grips feature silver S&W medallions, they are numbered to the gun, and remain in excellent condition. This gun is sighted with Baughman ramp front sight and fixed rear sight.  It comes in the original cardboard box numbered to the gun with the cleaning kit, manual and paperwork.  An excellent, like new example of the Chiefs Special.  FFL
