Boxed Walther Model Model 53 Air Pistol 4.5mm/ .177 Mfg 1960

Serial #040105, 4.5mm /.177 Caliber, 9 ½ inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore.  This is the Walther Model 53 Air pistol featuring a break-open action mostly concealed in the grip and fires pellets and darts manufactured in 1960.  The Walther M53 was used for early publication photos for Sean Connery as James Bond.  In excellent condition the barrel, frame and grips all rate excellent with very minor use and handling marks to the painted barrel, metal frame or plastic grips.  It comes in the original cardboard box with cleaning rod, spare rear and front sight blades, wood cocking aid and two original darts.  The gun was test fired and worked properly.  A very well made German target air pistol in high condition.
