1950s Montgomery Ward Hawthorne 22 Long Ammunition Regular Issue Ammo
This is a partial box, 49 original rounds, of .22 Long ammunition manufactured by Montgomery Ward as part of the 1950's “Hawthorne” regular issues. The one piece blue, gold, black and white box is solid with some minor wear and excellent graphics. The cartridges are in excellent condition and have the “M” over “W” head stamp. Identified as MW-5 L-1 in Roger Huegel's online .22 Rim Fire Box ID Reference based on the original Dunn classification system.
