Winchester 22 Long Black Powder Ammo Full Box Circa 1890's

This is a full box, 50 correct rounds, of .22 Long ammunition manufacture by Winchester as part of the circa 1890's Rifle Cartridge half-split box issues that incorporated the correct Oct. 31, 1871 patent date.  The half-split box is solid with top green and black and red side seal labels that are intact with a very nice cartridge cut, some flaking and wear on the edges and corners showing mild age soiling and staining.  The cartridges are in near excellent condition with some age darkening of the cases and lead.   Identified as WRA-5 L-1 (b) (with the disclaimer on the bottom) in Roger Huegel's online .22 Rim Fire Box ID Reference.
