Greener Police Gun Brass Hull Ammunition 2 Rounds 1952 Date

This is a lot of two live rounds of Greener Police Gun ammunition.  These unique rounds developed by the British Colonial forces for a converted Martini-Henry have a unique deep groove around the primer corresponding to a trident shaped firing pin so that only proprietary ammo could be used to thwart stolen gun use.  One cartridges is marked “GREENER E K POLICE GUN” and the other has a 1952 date.  Both are in excellent condition with slight age darkening.
