Scarce 42 Caliber Cup Fire Cartridge Civil War Ammo

This is a single live round of .42 caliber Cup Fire  ammunition for use in the Plant's Manufacturing revolver with Patent #24726 dated July 17, 1859.  The rare cartridge is unheadstamped and remains in very fine condition, collector marked along the side with a very slight dent near the bullet.  It will make a great looking display with your Plant's Manufacturing Front-Loading pocket revolver used as private purchase arms during the Civil War.
