Colt Frontier Scout '62 Revolver “P” Series 22 LR Built 1962

Serial #2125P, .22 LR, 4 5/8 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore.  This is the Frontier Scout '62 “P” suffix revolver manufactured by Colt in 1962 featuring the faux stag “Staglite” grips with colt medallion.  In excellent condition the barrel and cylinder retain about 94-96% of the original blue finish with wear at the muzzle and leading edge of the cylinder.   The frame shows about same coverage of the original black finish with loss along the top strap and scattered spots of the frame.  The grips rate excellent.  The action function properly with proper timing and tight lock up.  A great early Frontier Scout.  FFL or C&R
