Colt Open Top Pocket Model 22RF Revolver Built 1875

Serial #80216, .22 RF (black powder), 2 3/8 inch barrel with a very fine bore with strong rifling and light roughness.  This is the Colt Open Top Pocket Model Revolver manufactured in 1875.  In very fine to near excellent antique condition the barrel and cylinder retain much of the nickel finish that has dulled to an even gray patina with scattered areas of fine plum-brown with crisp barrel markings.  The brass frame has an aged brass appearance with some very minor surface marks.   The original walnut grips rate about excellent with some wear on the high edges and scattered varnish level marks.  It functions well mechanically with proper indexing and cylinder advancement.  A very fine example of these very well built Colt Pocket revolvers.  Antique
