Scarce Colt Cartridge Works 44 Caliber Ammo Combustible Envelope Packet

This is a full 6 round unopened and partially sealed packet of .44 Caliber Combustible Cartridges manufactured by the Colt Cartridge Works for the “New Model Revolving Holster Pistol”.   The original seal is partially intact with flaking along the top exposing the cartridges with several having some of the original cartridge paper torn and powder missing but clearly showing the drilled wood block interior.    The type is very legible with several dime size label pieces missing on the front.  A full and somewhat salty looking packet to display with your Civil War Colt Revolver.
