Colt Second Gen 44 Cal Black Powder 1860 Army Fluted Cylinder

Serial #208754, .44 Cal Black Powder percussion, 8 inch round barrel with a bright, excellent bore.  This is the second generation Colt model 1860 army with fluted cylinder, non-engraved, featuring a color case-hardened frame, hammer and loading lever.  In excellent condition the barrel and cylinder retain about 90-95% blue finish with some scattered spots of finish loss and thinning on the  leading and high edges with a very slight drag line on the cylinder with very good case-hardened colors on the balance.  The brass frame is a pleasing mellow aged brass and the grips show light use marks and contusions.  Mechanically it functions properly.  An excellent very lightly used example of these very well built 2nd Gen Colt Black Powder revolvers.  Antique
