Custom Stevens No. 44 ½ Single Shot Falling Block 35 Wesson

Serial #NSN, .35 Wesson (2 1/2" straight case), 30 inch extra heavy J. Stevens A. & T. Co. marked barrel with an excellent, bright bore.  This is a custom single shot target rifle built on a “-0-” marked No. 44 ½ Stevens frame.  It is nicely configured with double set triggers and target scope mounts on the barrel.  The condition is excellent with the barrel showing virtually of blue finish with the frame having vibrant re-applied case-colors.  The stock and Schnabel tip forearm are built from beautifully figured walnut and the steel Winchester shotgun butt plate has slightly muted case-colors.  The action functions smoothly with a very sensitive trigger.  The .35 Wesson was a factory offered chambering by Frank Wesson, and fired a .35 caliber bullet out of a 2 1/2" straight case having a 1/2" diameter rim according to an included data sheet.  It weighs in at 11 lbs 15 oz. and is a beautifully done Custom Stevens target rifle.  FFL or C&R
