Early 1920's Savage Model 1917 Pistol 32 ACP
Serial #239861, .32 ACP, 4 inch barrel with a fine dark bore with some roughness and good rifling. This is an early type 1917 pistol manufactured between 1920-21 and lacks the "Savage 1917 Model" writing on the frame of the later versions. The semi-automatic pistol is in very good condition showing about 75% of the matte black finish that has thinned on the high edges and shows an overall freckled surface. The trigger shows very muted traces of the original case color now a smoky grey. The hard rubber "SAVAGE QUALITY" grips are in very good condition with small chips to the left grip edge and moderate wear overall. It comes with one original 10 round magazine. Mechanically the gun functions properly with tight springs and a crisp trigger pull. FFL or C&R
