Early Antique No.1 Remington Vest Pocket 22 Pistol “Saw Handle Deringer”
Serial #1104, .22 RF, 3.25 inch barrel with a fine dark bore with light pitting. This is an early production, unmarked, Remington No. 1 Vest Pocket Pistol, “Saw Handle Derringer” manufactured from 1865-1888. In near excellent antique condition the barrel and frame retain about 85-90% of the original nickel finish with scattered contusions and carbon staining with scratches on the left side. The walnut grips rate excellent. Mechanically it functions properly cocking and firing with a crisp trigger pull. A great example of these neat little pistols. Antique.
