Early Original E. Remington & Sons Primed Brass 40-50 Sharps Straight 40-1 7/8

This is a full box, 25 original primed brass (no headstamp), of .40-1 7/8 Straight (.40-50 Sharps Straight) manufactured by E. Remington & Sons circa early 1880's.  The two piece box is in excellent condition with an excellent intact label having the early Remington logo and call out for the “Remington Mid-Range Rifle” with the 45 grain powder recommendation.  The primed brass is in excellent condition.  A great looking early Remington box perfect to pair with your Remington Rolling Block rifle.
