Early Uberti SAA Black Powder Frame 357 Magnum Cowboy Action Revolver

Serial #01173, .357 Mag / .38 Spl, 5 ½ inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore.  This is the Uberti Single Action Army revolver (Cat #1522) old model 1873 Cattleman with early black powder frame manufactured in Italy.  The lightly used Cowboy gun is mostly in the gray with barrel, cylinder and grip frame having a very nice aged pewter appearance with the frame showing traces of the once vibrant case-hardened color with some light scratches most visible on the cylinder.  The screw heads show some slot wear.  The smooth walnut grips have some light use marks and one small contusion but are otherwise excellent.  Mechanically the gun is sound with a very smooth hammer action and trigger pull having a tight lock up with very slight cylinder play.  A very nice Uberti with a very authentic look and feel that is perfect for the Cowboy Action Shooter that doesn't want a “new” gun look.  FFL
