Early Winchester 45-70-500 Government Standard Target Black Powder Ammo
This is a full box, 20 rounds, of .45-70 Extra Heavy Solid Head black powder ammunition manufactured by Winchester with 500 grain bullets circa late 1880's early 1890's. The two piece box is solid with professional repairs to the inside top. The primary and side labels are intact with excellent, crisp graphics showing a very nice cartridge cut. The cartridges are in excellent condition with some age darkening. An excellent box that will look sharp on display especially paired with you Trapdoor rifle.
