Excellent Blued Smith & Wesson 3rd Model Safety Hammerless Revolver 32 S&W C&R
Serial #176506. .32 S&W, 3.5 inch round ribbed barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Third Model 32 Safety Hammerless revolver manufactured by Smith & Wesson from 1909-1937 with this example on the early end of that range. In excellent condition the metal surfaces retain about 96-97% original blue, with spots of the frame and backstrap thinning to a purple-brown hue with few minor handling marks. The trigger shows much of the original vibrant case-hardened colors and the hard rubber S&W monogrammed grips are correctly numbered to the gun and rate excellent. All parts are are correctly numbered to the gun which has a tight barrel to frame lock up and times and cycles properly. An excellent example of the S&W Safety Hammerless.
