Excellent Boxed K-22 Masterpiece 3rd Model Revolver 22LR C&R

Serial #K64778, .22 LR, 6 inch ribbed round pinned barrel with a bright, excellent bore.  This is the K-22 Masterpiece revolver 3rd model, pre-model 17, manufactured in 1948.  In excellent condition it retains virtually all, 97-98% original blue showing light muzzle and high edge wear, and scattered light handling marks. The service trigger and hammer retain robust case-hardened colors with light operational wear.  The diamond checkered walnut factory grip are numbered to the gun and feature silver S&W medallions, they remain in excellent condition showing scattered lightly compressed diamond points.  This revolver features a Patridge front sight, black blade micro adjustable rear sight, and all appropriate parts are correctly numbered to the gun. The gun includes the original factory two-piece gold box with S&W wax paper insert.  The box rates good to very good showing light to moderate edge wear, and the metal corners remain strong.  An excellent example of the K-22 Masterpiece.  FFL or C&R
