Excellent Colt Cobra 1st Issue Revolver in Nickel Built in 1962

Serial #125528LW, .38 Special, 2" barrel with an excellent, bright bore.  This is a 1962-made revolver that has retained 99% plus original nickel, with only a few hints of freckling on the left side of the frame knuckle at the rear sideplate screw.  There are some barely noticeable surface scratches, as well as a faint turn-ring on the cylinder.  The checkered Colt medallion grips are likewise in excellent shape with very little wear or flattening of the points, and are numbered "700" on the interior.  The action functions flawlessly in both single and double-action, and the lock-up is tight.  This is a splendid example of a lightweight "Snake Gun" and is in excellent overall condition.  FFL or C&R
