Excellent Colt Officers Model Special Heavy Barrel Revolver

Serial #599974, .38 Special, 6" heavy barrel with an excellent, bright bore.  This is a splendid revolver, made in 1950, and retains 97-98% of the original blue finish, with only some mild silvering at the muzzle, along a few of the high and projecting edges, as well as a light turn-ring on the rear of the cylinder.  The hammer has a few very small specks of freckling along the sides of the spur, but is otherwise in excellent shape.  The checkered walnut Colt medallion grips are in fine shape, with only a few very minor handling marks and very little flattening of the points.  The lock-up is tight and the action functions smoothly in both single and double-action.  This is a fantastic Colt Officers Model, and is in excellent condition.  FFL or C&R
