Excellent Early Webley Mk. V Service Revolver 455 1913-1915

Serial #129852, .455 Webley, 6" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome, commercially marked revolver that retains 95-97% of the original brushed blue finish that has mild silvering along the high and exposed edges, as well as a gentle turn-ring on the cylinder. Traces of Suncorite are present at the front sight, on the hammer, and on the thumb-lever. All markings are crisp, and the checkered Vulcanite grips are in very good-near fine shape with some minor flattening of the points, as well as light surface scratches, and a chip at the toe of the right panel. The lock-up is still tight, and the mechanism functions flawlessly. This example is stamped "England" as required for export. These revolvers were built between 1913 - 1915. The 6" barrel appears to be more scarce than the 4" examples. This is a very nice early Mk. V Webley, in a desirable configuration. FFL or C&R
