Excellent Engraved 22 Cal Hopkins & Allen Model XL No.1 Revolver Antique

Serial #M213, .22 Short black powder, 2 3/8 inch octagon barrel with a dark, slightly rough barrel with strong rifling.  This is a XL No. 1 revolver manufactured and marked by “Hopkins & Allen Mfg Co. / PAT. MAR. 23. 1871” on the top barrel flat made late 1880's early 1890's.  The diminutive spur trigger purse gun features beautiful flower motif engraving with about 75% coverage and is very nicely stocked with very well fitting mother of pearl grips.  The silver plated finish is mostly intact with some very scattered spots of flaking.  The action functions properly with a tight lock up and crisp trigger release.  A very high condition engraved XL No. 1.  Antique
