Excellent First Year Production H&R Model 686 Revolver 22 Mag Case Color

Serial #AU135464, .22 WMR, 7 ½ inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the model 686 western style revolver manufactured by H&R Inc. in 1980, the first year of production featuring a case colored frame which was sold as “Antique Finish”. In excellent plus condition the DA/SA revolver retains virtually all, 97-99% of the original blue finish on the barrel, trigger guard, and cylinder with some very fine freckling on the latter. The frame and ejector rod housing has vibrant case color. The one piece hardwood grip is near excellent with some light storage and handling marks. It is sighted with a fully adjustable rear target sight. A beautiful example of the “Antique” version of this first year Model 686. FFL
