Excellent Harrington & Richardson Model 1915 1st Variation 410-44 C&R
Serial #A20040, .410-44 Cal (2 1/2” 410 shells & 44 Winchester Centerfire and 44 XL Shot), 26 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Harrington & Richardson Model 1915 1st variation, single barrel shotgun manufactured from 1916-1921. In excellent condition the barrel, top lever and trigger guard retain about 93-96% of the original blue finish with some light use marks and scratches. The receiver shows much of the original bright case-hardened colors worn to a smoky gray on the carry point of the underside and some scattered mild scratches. The walnut stock and forearm, which is numbered to the gun are in excellent condition with light use marks with the butt plate a later replacement showing grind marks that extend into the surrounding walnut. The action is tight with barrel on face. An excellent example in a scarce caliber configuration. FFL or C&R
