Excellent Sealed! Box 45-70 Ammo Frankford Arsenal Model 1882 Carbine

This is a full and sealed box, 20 original rounds, of .45-70 ammunition manufactured at the Frankford Arsenal for the “Carbine Cartridges / Model 1882” with date on the lower front of January, 1884.  The buff box with buff and black label is intact with clear graphics showing slight age soiling and wear at the corners and edges.  The original pull cord is still present with the end at the bottom left corner and some peeking out along the top edge.  An excellent example for the Trapdoor or ammunition collector.
