Fine S&W K-22 Masterpiece Revolver Built in 1950
Serial #K85549, .22 LR, 6" barrel with a fine, bright bore that has a small amount of trace freckling within the grooves. This is a pinned and recessed revolver that has matching numbers on the frame, barrel, cylinder, and extractor (the yoke is not numbered). The metal retains 95-97% of the original blue finish, with some mild fading and freckling along the edges and projections, mainly at the muzzle and on the rear portion of the frame, as well as a light turn-ring on the cylinder. The trigger and target hammer retain a commensurate amount of the original color case-hardening, with some gray fading on the edges and contact points. The checkered S&W target stocks are unnumbered and in fine shape with only some very minor handling marks, and some mild flattening of the points on either panel. The lock-up is tight, and the revolver rates fine-near excellent overall. FFL or C&R
