Franz Stock German 6.35mm (25 ACP) Type I Pocket Pistol Semi-Auto C&R

Serial #9486, 6.35mm (.25 ACP), 2 ½ inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore.  This is a Type I, vest pocket semi-automatic pistol manufactured in Berlin, Germany by Franz Stock who made guns from 1920-40 with this example likely dating to somewhere in the mid 1930's.  The metal surfaces have a later applied blue finish and are a mottled blue-gray toning to silver on the high edges with some use marks and freckling especially on the grip frame.  It comes with one original “FS” marked 7 round magazine and wears “STOCK” marked hard rubber grips that are in near excellent condition, solid with the right panel faded to a olive-brown color and the left all black.  It functions mechanically and is marked with the Crown “N” proofs indicating it was made for export.  A neat little German pocket pistol.  FFL or C&R
