WW2 Japanese Nambu Type 14 Pistol Holster w/ Strap
This is a near excellent condition original early Issue holster for the Japanese Nambu type 14 semi automatic pistol. It is constructed of thick leather with a hard shell lid which covers the pistol's grip as well as the spare ammunition compartment and firing pin pouch. There is also a flap covering the ammunition compartment which has some missing stitches and a loop inside to hold the combination cleaning rod/take down tool which is still present. The flap on the cover has two stitches missing on the right end and stamped under that above the belt loop is "33892" and "Koishikawa Arsenal (Tokyo) makers mark". The rear of the holster has a belt loop, as well as two loops for the original excellent condition shoulder strap. All of the brass hardware on the early version holster has some verdigris. This is over-all a fine example of an early well built holster.
