WWI German Hans Romer Neu-Ulm 1918 Artillery Luger Holster Shortened for Police
This is a rare WWI German Hans Romer Neu-Ulm 1918 Artillery holster that was factory shortened to standard length for the Wieimar police. The process was professionally done with tight stitching and no stitching were it was removed. The leather is in excellent condition with a nice patina, still supple and very well cared for. The straps and snaps are in excellent working condition. This holster is clearly marked Hans Romer over 1918 with Neu-Ulm on the bottom and on the back the Crown/I which indicates that the hide was accepted within the Bavarian First Army Corps district. This comes with an original Luger takedown tool, also known as a loading tool, marked with a crown over another mark. This is an exceptional holster that had a long service life. From toe to the top of the flap is 10 1/4"
