Gits Bros Utility Knife Celluloid Southwell Wool Chelmsford Massachusetts
This is a vintage utility knife manufactured by the Gits Bros with a 3” celluloid handle and 1 3/4” blade. It was produced for the the Southwell Wool Combing Company in Chelmsford, Massachusetts and given out as promotional Christmas gifts. The company was founded in 1922 and operated into the 1950's. This neat little knife is in excellent condition and comes with the original gift box. A fantastic piece of memorabilia from the heyday of the textile mills in New England.
