Handmade Hunting Knife by N. Dill Bowie w/ Bone handle

This is a handmade, clip point, brass guard, hunting or Bowie knife marked “N Dill”.  The blade measures 6 1/4” and is in good condition with an overall silverly pewter appearance with scattered areas of very fine pitting.  The stacked handle has a brass pommel and cross piece  with alternating sections of bone and wood separated with thin copper sheets and is in good condition with splits on some of the wood sections and traces of verdigris on the brass and copper.  A great looking old knife.  Please see the photographs for further information on condition.
