Vintage Holley Mfg. Co. 2 Blade Jack Knife
The Holley Mfg. Co was one of the first companies to manufacture pocket knives in the United States beginning around 1844 in Lakeville Connecticut. This example is a two blade Jack with steel liners and 3 3/8" closed in good to very good condition. The main blade well sharpened with some freckling and marked "HOLLEY, LAKEVILLE CONN.", weak snap. The small blade appears correct size with freckling and solid Holley stamp, nice snap to the blade. The bolster matches the finish on the blades and the wood scales have a deep patina and the initials "LM" that are worn from age.
