Early Flat Latch Smith & Wesson Model 37 Airweight 38 Spl. Revolver

Serial #153809, .38 Special, 2 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore.  This is the Smith & Wesson Model 37 Airweight revolver manufactured circa late 1950's and has the characteristic early flat latch cylinder release and the early grips with diamond around the screw and nut escutcheons.  In excellent condition the blued steel barrel and cylinder show about 94-96% of the original finish with some very minor handling marks, light drag line and a few small freckles at the muzzle and cylinder.  The aluminum alloy frame rates excellent showing some slight silvering on the high edges and the serrated trigger shows much of the original vibrant case hardened color.  The grips are numbered to the gun and remain in excellent condition.  A desirable early Model 37 in high condition.  FFL  or C&R
