New Condition CMP Purchase Winchester M1 Garand Expert Grade WW2 1943

Serial #1636482, .30-06, 24" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This rifle was originally manufactured in 1943, and was refurbished by CMP to Expert Grade prior to its sale in 2022. The rifle is in excellent condition as refurbished, and was used sparingly by the previous owner. Consequently, most of the metal retains practically all of the armory-reparkerized finish, with only some very mild silvering along some of the high and exposed edges. The new walnut stock set is in excellent condition with only a few very minor scratches and marks in the otherwise newly oil-finished wood. The rifle is housed in the CMP plastic case along with a single en bloc clip, and the original papers. This is a splendid CMP-sold Garand that was not fired after CMP Refurb. FFL or C&R
