Ornate Side Lock plates and Hammers Charles Mortimer Dbl Shotgun

his is an ornate pair of lock plates and hammers for a Charles Mortimer double barrel shotgun. The metal has been taken down to the white and are ready to be refinished. Each plate has an engraved game scene and scroll work along with the “Charles Mortimer” name on each plate. The inside is marked with “2” and “Stanton & Co.” along with “C 40817” on the one for the right and “C 40818” on the left. The hammers cock back and lock into place. The right hand mechanism is missing one of the springs and attaching screw. Great locks for a repair to your old shotgun or the start of a new one.
