P.J. O’Hare Model 1903 Springfield Rear Sight Protector

This is an original, hinged sheet metal rear sight protector for the US Model 1903 rifle. The metal retains 90-95% of the original blued finish with traces of freckling on the balance, and some silvering along the edges. The hinge spring is still strong and firm, and the P.J. O’Hare markings are still clear.
