This is a full and sealed packet of .36 Caliber, “36-100 inch Calibre” black powder combustible envelope cartridges manufactured by Henry W. Mason in South Coventry, Connecticut using American Powder Co. black powder in the post Civil War era (1865-1888).   The label calls out “For Remington's, Colt's, & other / NAVY OR BELT PISTOLS” and remains in excellent sealed condition with some edge wear/separation along the top edges.  A great immediate post-civil war ammo packet perfect for display with your Cold Navy or other revolver from that time period.
